A Poem for Jay

If roses are red
And violets are blue -
Then please know
I always think of you.

I'm just a man, and before I die -
I want to see you
My star in the sky.

I'll give you my hope
I'll give you my dream -
If only you will know
That we are a team.

So don't be upset
when this last line won't rhyme.
This poem is yours -
